What are veneers?

However, they are not a substitute for orthodontic treatment and are intended for cosmetic correction of the smile’s visible surfaces.

Despite their thin 0.3–0.5 mm structure, porcelain veneers are the most durable cosmetic solution, lasting around 20 years. Over time, gum recession may reveal the veneer-tooth margin, originally placed beneath the gum.

Procedure overview
- Consultation: We discuss expectations using professional photo studio images.
- Digital Smile Design (DSD): The designed smile and dental impressions/scans are sent to the lab for a wax-upmodel.
- Mock-up: A temporary prototype is placed in the patient’s mouth, photos are taken, and adjustments are made.
- Tooth preparation: After mild enamel adjustment, we take final impressions or scans and place temporary veneers. In some cases, non‑prep veneers are used with no preparation.
- Final placement: At the third visit, temporary veneers are replaced with porcelain ones. Once approved, they are permanently bonded — offering no risk of removal or decay underneath.
